Your information, handled plainly.
This website is operated by Green Energy Mines Private Limited ("GEM", "we", "us"). This notice explains what personal information we receive through this website, why we use it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We have written it in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it. The terms on which we publish this website are set out separately in our terms of use.
Who is responsible for your information
Green Energy Mines Private Limited is the data fiduciary — the company that decides how and why your information is used.

What we collect, and why
We only collect what you choose to send us. There is no account to create, nothing to sign up for, and no tracking of your browsing.
We do not ask for, and have no use for, financial details, identity documents, or any sensitive personal information. Please do not send them through this website.
Why we are allowed to use it
We rely on your consent, which you give by choosing to fill in and send the enquiry form. We ask for nothing beyond what the enquiry needs, and we do not bundle your consent with anything else.
If you would rather not use the form, you can simply email us instead — the same terms in this notice apply to whatever you send.
Who else can see it
Your enquiry is read by the people at GEM who are able to answer it. Beyond that:
- Our hosting and email provider stores the website and carries the message to our inbox. They process it on our instructions only.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
If we ever engage an outside adviser who needs to see an enquiry in order to respond to it, they are bound to use it only for that purpose.
Where it is kept
Enquiries are held on our hosting provider's servers and in our company email. Our provider may store or back up data outside India. Wherever it sits, it remains under our control and is handled under this notice and applicable Indian law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are deleted within 24 months of our last exchange with you.
- Enquiries that become a business relationship are kept for as long as that relationship lasts, and afterwards only for as long as company, tax or contract law requires.
- Server records are kept for the short period our hosting provider retains them for security and diagnostics.
If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will, unless a law requires us to keep it.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask us, at any time and free of charge, to:
- Show you a summary of the information we hold about you and what we have done with it.
- Correct anything that is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
- Erase the information we hold, where no law requires us to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it — one email is enough. We will then stop using your information and delete it, unless a law requires otherwise. Anything we did before you withdrew remains lawful.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or are unable to act for yourself.
- Raise a grievance about how we have handled your information.
Write to privacy@greenenergymines.com and we will respond within 30 days. So that we act on the right record, please write from the email address you originally used, or tell us enough to identify it.
If you are not satisfied
Please raise it with our Grievance Officer first — most things are quickest to fix directly:
- Grievance Officer, Green Energy Mines Private Limited
- Email privacy@greenenergymines.com
- Post C 301, Vajras Jasmine County, Road No. 1, Gachibowli, Serilingampally, K.V. Rangareddy 500032, Telangana, India
We acknowledge grievances within 7 working days and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If you remain unsatisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies, tracking and fonts
This website sets no advertising cookies, no analytics and no tracking pixels. Nobody is profiled, and nothing about your visit is sold or shared with advertisers.
Our fonts and images are served from our own website, so your browser does not contact outside font or media services while you read these pages.
The site stores one small item in your browser — a note that you have already seen the opening animation, so it is not replayed on every page. It is not an identifier, it is never sent to us, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.
Pages such as our Insights article link out to government and research websites. Once you follow a link, that website's own privacy practices apply.
Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Keeping it safe
The website is served over an encrypted connection, access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it, and we review our arrangements as the company grows. No system is perfect — if a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Changes to this notice
As GEM grows, this notice will be updated. The date below always shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already shared, we will tell you directly.
